Definition
Product-market fit means your product meets a real need so well that people stay, pay and tell their friends.
There's no single test for it. Signs include people coming back on their own, low churn, growth by word of mouth, and users who would be upset if your product went away.
Before fit, growth feels like pushing a rock uphill. After fit, users start to pull. You can't fake it with ads or a big launch. People either keep coming back, or they don't.
How feedback helps
Feedback shows you who loves the product and why. Look for the users who praise it most. What do they have in common? That group is your market. Build for them first, and say their words on your store page.
Example
A notes app has mixed reviews overall. But reviews from nurses are glowing, because it works offline on long shifts. The team focuses its next updates, and its store page, on that group.
